On the Problem of Evidence, Knowledge, and Knowing

This symposium is comprised of five papers, each examining in its own way the intricate relationship between identity, relation, place, learning, and not learning. In doing so, each of the papers—and the symposium as a whole—both challenges core assumptions and practices underlying social studies education and offers alternatives to them.
