Dialogues on Social Studies and Education Policy, Past, Present, and Future

This session facilitate dialogues about the relationships between social studies education and policy, framed by the following categories: (1) public discord over aims and policies in social studies education; (2) intersections of policy and teaching, assessment, and teacher education; and (3) opportunities for advocacy in social studies policy arenas.
