Transforming Social Studies Education: Insights from Previous Disrupters

Using narrative inquiry, symposium presenters reflect on their own experiences as teacher educators, researchers, and members of CUFA/NCSS who sought to disrupt the status quo in earlier time periods. They also examine social studies research over time with respect to three intersecting populations: women, African Americans, and Latinas/os.
