Crafting Compelling Questions: Facilitating Inquiry and Critical Thinking in K-8 Social Studies

Engaging and effective social studies instruction requires deliberate planning and use of compelling questions. This work session, facilitated by four social studies teacher educators, will examine the process of writing compelling questions and explore their potential as catalysts for classroom discussion and development of successful learners and informed citizens.
