‘I am Woman. I am of Fire -the Kindling of Creation’: Mapping the Journey from Feminist Woman to Feminist Teacher

The purpose of this research is to investigate the transformation of personal feminist understanding into ambitious feminist social studies teaching. The understanding of how to foster and develop feminist consciousness and activism among teachers is critically important to mitigating the marginalization, minimization and silencing of gender in the dominant narrative.
