Disciplined Inquiry in Middle Grades World History

Findings from an on-going collaborative action research study being conducted in a 7th grade world history classroom provide insight into the issues social studies teachers face as they integrate inquiry into the classroom. These findings can provide a guide for teacher educators to better support preservice and in-service teachers as they plan for inquiry-oriented instruction.
