Indian Education for All: Challenging Settler-Colonialism through Curricular Frameworks

Through its Indian Education for All (IEFA) mandate, Montana has elevated awareness of Indigenous experiences across the curriculum. However, IEFA has caused racial microaggressions and added stress for Indigenous educators. This session considers IEFA’s past, present, and future potential to expand the vision of education and teacher preparation beyond settler-colonialism.
