Getting Schooled: An auto-ethnography of a teacher educator’s return to the secondary social studies classroom

The research/teacher educator returns to the K-12 classroom after ten years. Through an auto-ethnography of her year, findings emerge to indicate great difficulty actualizing critical theory or social studies curriculum. The implications calls for presenting strong links and specific examples on how to enact critical theory and curriculum.
