Terror Management Theory and Education: Engaging with Indigenous Perspectives

This paper is a theoretical engagement with practical applications aimed at illuminating the negative effects of existential terror as they pertain to learning Indigenous perspectives in social studies. We apply terror management theory into education, building upon educational scholarship on the psychological aspects of teaching contentious topics and diverse populations.
