The Prevalent Unawareness of Teachers towards Educational Restrictions for Immigrant Students

In a 2016 study, high school teachers in South Carolina showed a concerning lack of awareness towards the states' restrictive educational policies for immigrant students. This raises pertinent questions on awareness of educational policy among teachers as well as faulty notions of educational inclusion in highly restrictive and nativist environments.
