Constraints to Critical Multicultural Social Studies in Teacher Education

Critical multicultural citizenship education remains an unrealized goal across U.S. schools. The lack of critical multicultural social studies teacher education is a contributive factor. Drawing on multiple data sources, I offer an analysis of the constraints to critical multicultural social studies in teacher education.
