Action Civics & Student Learning: The Power of Choice and Supportive Audiences

This research focuses on an action civics curriculum targeted at underserved high school students that is designed to foster key civic outcomes along with crucial Common Core speaking and listening skills. We examine the factors that shape students’ experiences with and learning from this action civics curriculum.
